The Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation was established in 1986 to introduce more young people to the game of golf and to nurture their skills and enjoyment of the sport.
Our objectives are to establish and service a variety of programs for boys and girls, creating pathways through the sport that cater for the beginner through to the elite.
The Foundation is a non-profit organisation dependant upon the support and commitment of our sponsors. Grants from the NSW Government, the NSW Golf Association, Women's Golf NSW and our major fundraiser The Jack Newton Celebrity Classic provide the funds necessary to develop our programs. Major Foundation sponsors include Optus, Srixon and Titleist.
The Foundation activities include a variety of junior golf tournament, camps and clinics for all levels of player, school programs and assistance to clubs and regional areas in the development of their junior programs.
The Board of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation is comprised of representatives of the NSW Golf Association, Women's Golf NSW, the NSW Professional Golfers Association and friends of junior golf.
