The NSW Junior Girls Team have secured the Burtta Cheney Cup. NSW defeated Tasmania this morning 5-0 to secure the championship and won an amazing 22 1/2 games out of a possible 25. The winning team was Chantal Hodson, Carly Beck, Claudia Lim, Cathleen Santoso, Jordana Keaton and Nerida Gregory. WELL DONE GIRLS.
The NSW Junior Boys team have secured back to back titles and the quinella for NSW with a victory over QLD this morning. With only one match needed to take the title Jarrod Freeman secured the vital point defeating Taylor McDonald 4/2. NSW defeated QLD in the match 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 with victories to Jarrod Freeman, Jake Higginbottom, Matt Wittenberg and a half to Josh Cabban. The remaining members of the victorious team were Andrius Belkus and Daniel Yu. WELL DONE BOYS.
