SPECIAL NOTE
DUE TO THE YELLOW COURSE BEING PLAYED ON SUNDAY FOR THE BOYS 13 & UNDER AND STABLEFORD AND NO YELLOW COURSE RATING A DECISION WAS MADE TO ADD 4 SHOTS TO EACH PLAYERS SCORE. THIS EQUATES TO A FAIR COURSE RATING OF 66.
Day two and another beautiful winters day. Jarrod Freeman of the Concord Golf Club shot a fantastic 5 under 65 to take the boys title while in the girls overall division a playoff was needed to seperate Tahnia Ravnjak of the Bankstown GC and Cathleen Santoso of the Lakes Golf Club. A par on the first extra hole was enough to give Cathleen the victory.
The Macarthur Junior Masters teed off under clear but very cold conditions this morning. The boys championship has three players tied on 1 under, Jarrod Freeman, Brayden Petersen and Andrew Best while in the girls championship Cathleen Santoso and Esther Yoon share the spoils on 4 over 75.
Some great scores in the afternoon with the boys 13 and under playing off the favoured yellow tees. These boys will be tested a bit more tomorrow and will be playing on the blue tees.
This weekend also is the weekend that Jack Newton Junior Golf trials its' new tournament management system. The scores are listed below in both the excel format and new (bluegolf) format.
