After an early scare in the singles matches NSW have retained the Charlie Earp Bowl with a convincing 19 points to 11 victory.
NSW secured the victory with an excellent victories and one half match in the twelve afternoon singles matches. The undefeated players for NSW included Chantal Hodson, Lizzy Elmassian and Jake Higginbottom.
NSW (Jack Newton Junior Golf) has taken a slender lead heading into the final afternoon singles matches. After the morning of the second days' play NSW hold a lead of 10 1/2 points to 7 1/2 points over the Greg Norman Golf Foundation (QLD). With the 12 singles matches to come NSW require a a further 5 matches to retain the Charlie Earp Bowl for 2010
